Independent Living Communities are generally apartments and communities for adults 55 and older. Some Communities offer three meals a day, and housekeeping/laundry services.
Personal Care Homes are typically apartment style rooms with private bathrooms. Personal assistance with activities of daily living is provided, and there may be charges for the level of care that is needed for the individual. Some apartments have small kitchens as well. Meals and assistance with medications are provided.

There are many nurturing, safe, and effective care options available for older loved ones. Narrowing down choices and making the right one can be daunting. It’s important to know you don’t need to do it alone!
Please contact kendra@continuingcareresources.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
At Continuing Care Resources, we begin with a complimentary consultation. During this consultation, CCR will gather information to identify the specific care needs, location, and budget.
Information gathered may include the following: current and future levels of care desired, location and amenities of your future residence, and available financial resources to meet your desired living arrangements.
CCR will research perspective communities by taking the information provided during the consultation process and identify those communities which best meet your needs.
CCR will schedule meetings and tours with all prospective communities and accompany you on the tours. CCR will provide you with assistance in making sure all your questions and concerns are addressed.
After all appropriate options are considered, you are now empowered with the necessary information to move forward with making the final decision regarding which community is best for you.
CCR will be with you every step of the way, including meeting with you and the chosen community's admission office to finalize your move in details.
CCR has complete transparency regarding how we are paid. CCR has contracts with many of the senior communities in our area. When CCR refers a client to a community and after they move in, the senior living community compensates CCR.
